The mind boggles in profound boggledom: if it depended on men alone, a sexist, racist, serially lying, up-his-own-ass narcissistic, sexually assaulting, short-fingered douchebag deluxe pussy-grabber would be our next president (thank the Lord, the heavens, the sun, the moon and every star above for the existence of women: though Trump leads by 11 points among men, he loses by 33 points among women).
This numerical damning fix on the horrifying propensity of American men's to stand by a sexist, racist, serially lying, up-his-own-ass narcissistic, sexually assaulting, short-fingered douchebag deluxe pussy-grabber like Trump — winning by 350 votes over 188 — comes to us courtesy of the highly respected FiveThirtyEight site run by the brilliant Nate Silver.
1. How Does Trump Make Women Feel?
Not quite.
What it does mean, is that a majority of American men have no problem with our country being run by a sexist, racist, serially lying, up-his-own-ass narcissistic, sexually assaulting, short-fingered douchebag deluxe pussy-grabber (BTW, as a sexist, racist, serially lying, up-his-own-ass narcissistic, sexually assaulting, short-fingered douchebag deluxe pussy-grabber, Donald Trump would make an excellent member of ISIS, and probably become their leader; after all, this is a man who, as quoted in New York magazine, told a friend about women, “you have to treat ‘em like shit”).
How are women supposed to feel about this high regard of a majority of American men for a sexist, racist, serially lying, up-his-own-ass narcissistic, sexually assaulting, short-fingered douchebag deluxe pussy-grabber?
Take one woman, Michele Obama, who said the following in a speech last week:
“I can't believe I'm saying that a candidate for president of the United States has bragged about sexually assaulting women. I can't stop thinking about this — it has shaken me to my core.
“I feel it so personally … the shameful comments about our bodies. The disrespect of our ambitions and intellect. The belief that you can do anything you want to a woman. It is cruel. It's frightening. And the truth is, it hurts.

Roe v Wade prevented this from happening, but the Republicans want it to go away (look what they've done in Texas), so that we'd have to go back to women dying from backstreet abortions.

So let's go deeper — what does their support for a sexist, racist, serially lying, up-his-own-ass narcissistic, sexually assaulting, short-fingered douchebag deluxe pussy-grabber tell us about the majority of American men?
Does it mean that the majority of American men themselves are sexist, racist, serially lying, up-their-own-asses narcissistic, sexually assaulting, short-fingered douchebag deluxe pussy-grabbers?
In their favor, I would say that American men may probably not be liars to the bizarre serial extent that Trump is, given that it is part of the record that Trump lies in his speeches every two and a half minutes (something he himself graces with the term “truthful hyperbole”).

So we can let American men who favor Donald Trump off the hook about lying. They do not lie at Trump's rate.
