Jamie Elsey is a PhD candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Born in the UK, he received his BSc from University College London (UCL), and a MSc in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology from UCL and the Yale Child Study Center, where he conducted research on the neurobiological impact of childhood trauma. After working as a research associate at the Yale/UConn Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity, he moved to Amsterdam to conduct research on a new treatment for anxiety disorders, based on the pharmacological manipulation of emotional memory.
